SchemaStudio is a self-contained desktop application — no runtime or framework installation required. Download the build for your platform, run the installer, and you're ready to go.
Download the latest version from the SchemaStudio page. After purchasing, your license key will be emailed to you within one business day.

The installer also registers a .ssproj file association — double-clicking any
.ssproj project file will open it directly in SchemaStudio.
.dmg file.SchemaStudio includes a 30-day free trial with full functionality. No account or payment information is required to start the trial — just download and run.
The number of days remaining is shown each time you launch during the trial period. When the trial expires, the application will prompt you to activate with a license key before you can continue working.
Licenses are per machine — each copy of SchemaStudio you activate needs its own key. To purchase, visit the purchase page, complete checkout via PayPal, and your license key will be emailed to the address you provide.
Before completing your purchase you will need your Machine ID — a unique identifier for the computer you are installing on. You can find it inside SchemaStudio:

After activation, SchemaStudio is fully licensed on that machine with no expiry date. Keep your license key somewhere safe — you will need it if you reinstall the application.
At any time you can check your current license status by going to Help → About License…. This shows whether you are on a trial (with days remaining) or fully licensed, along with your Machine ID for reference.
